Project Description:

In this project for a contemporary Georgian Orthodox church in Tbilisi, respectfulness for a long-standing tradition is reflected by the archetypal form of the enclosed space, the cross-themed design of the glass walls  and the use of local stone. Clear glass is used for half of the church facades  and the light that penetrates the church from all sides symbolizes the universality of faith and the unicity of man’s relationship with God.
