Description

Gullstén-Inkinen Design & Architecture is a creative design company based in Helsinki, Finland. The company was founded in 1988 by interior architect Hanna Gullstén and architect Jari Inkinen. With over 30 years of experience, the company creates sustainable spaces with a small carbon footprint and a big heart.

The team includes architects, interior architects, graphic designers, workplace consultants, service designers, and project engineers. This combination of skills allows the company to design many types of spaces, such as offices, learning environments, restaurants, hotels, retail facilities, and the adaptive reuse and restoration of historic buildings.

Customer orientation has always been one of the company’s strongest values. Many clients have relied on Gullstén-Inkinen for decades. Spaces are designed to reflect each client’s wishes and to support their daily work. In addition, the company provides change support by coaching staff and assisting with change communications.

Sustainability is another key value. The company’s own office has been carbon neutral since 2019. Gullstén-Inkinen also helps clients reduce their environmental impact with durable and scalable design solutions.

Projects range from small space plans and workplace studies to large campuses, hotels, and complete workplace transformations. The focus has always been on creating environments that not only serve business needs but also support people, foster well-being, and respect architectural heritage.
